Chardham Yatra is a spiritual journey in Uttarakhand state of India which is done by the people of the Hindu religion. Tour Itinerarary of Chardham Yatra by Helicopter

Dehradun Arrival

Dehradun is our main base for the Heli-tours. It is the starting & ending point.
A complimentary stay on the date of arrival, Dinner inclusive with the stay.
Passengers are picked up from Dehradun Airport/railway station/bus stand. Please note, arrival details must be provided to us at the time of booking.
Passengers should try to reach Dehradun by 03:00 pm, or earlier so that they are completely ready to start their Chardham journey the next day early morning.
In the evening, our team will be doing the tour briefing to the guests, providing them with duffel bags for carrying only necessary things on the trip – 3 to per 5kg person will be permitted.

Sahastradhara to Yamunotri

0530 Hrs Checkout from Dehradun hotel.
0600 Hrs ETD from Sahastradhara Helidrome.
0630 Hrs ETA at Kharsali Heli-Base.
This is starting day of the Chardham yatra by Helicopter Tour. Passengers will check out early morning from the hotel at 05:30 am.
After landing at Kharsali, our ground staff will welcome the guests and get them settled in the hotel, which is within walking distance from the helipad.
After breakfast, guests will be taken for Yamunotri Darshan by Palki.
Approximate time taken for Yamunotri Temple Darshan: Approximately 05hrs 30mins (round-trip).
Sightseeing at Kharsali: Hot Spring at Yamunotri Temple, Yamuna Mata Temple, Shani Temple.

Kharsali to Gangotri

Guests will check out by 0600 hrs.
Departure from Kharsali will be at 0630 hrs.
Estimated time of arrival at Harsil will be at 0700 hrs.
After landing at Harsil, guests will be taken to Harsil village & check-in the hotel.
Guests will be taken for Gangotri Dham darshan after breakfast.

Harsil to Sersi

Guests will check out by 0630 hrs. Arrival at Sersi will be by 0730 hrs.
Sersi/Guptkashi – From here we operate the shuttle services for Kedarnath ji shrine (Kedarnath Helipad).
Guests will be ferried to Kedarnath Dham for darshan in a shuttle service flight, after their breakfast.

Sersi to Badrinath

Passengers will have breakfast by 0730 hrs at Sersi & be ready for their flight to Badrinath by 0800 hrs.
Passengers will be taken for darshan to Badrinath temple in the afternoon after lunch.

Badrinath to Dehradun

Badrinath ji hotel check-out time is 0800 hrs.
Estimated time of arrival will be 0930 hrs at Sahastradhara.
In case passengers would like to spend an additional night at Dehradun, accommodation can be arranged by our team at an additional cost. The same must be informed to us at the time of booking.

Terms Conditions And Guidelines

FIXED FLIGHT TIMINGS

This is a DailyFixed Departure Helicopter tour, and all departure timings of each destination are fi xed, it is strictly advised that guests must ensure they report as per the scheduled ETDs on each day of the tour, otherwise, they will be considered NO-SHOW.

COVID TRAVEL GUIDELINES

COVID protocols shall be adhered by the passengers and us as per the eff ective The mandate of the government. Without adhering to government guidelines, boarding can be denied to passengers without a refund.

HELICOPTER WEIGHT LIMITATION

The maximum weight capacity of the helicopter is 440 kg (excluding baggage weight). Passengers are taken on board depending on the load and temperature conditions. The pilot’s call will be fi nal. The total weight of all passengers on board must be within this limit. Hence, passengers are required to provide us with their exact weights at the time of booking.

PASSENGER WEIGHTS

Passengers have to submit their correct weights at the time of booking. If any change in weight was found at the time of their travel from the submitted weights, which would exceed our aircraft’s weight carrying capacity of 450 kg, passengers would be deboarded; canceled the Heli-tour without any refund. Overweight charges @Rs.2000/-per Kg would be applicable above 75 Kg
OVERWEIGHT CHARGES: ON PER SEAT BASIS ONLY
In view of our helicopters’ limited weight-carrying capacity, we reserve the right to shuff le passengers between helicopters to manage the right weight for safe flying in the hills. Therefore, passengers traveling together may not be accommodated in the same helicopter fl ight.

ARRIVAL DATE

Our Chardham4N5D Heli-tours are booked departure date-wise. However, passengers have to arrive in Dehradun one day prior to the departure date. Dehradun's complimentary night stay which is provided on the arrival date makes our package a 5Night/6Daystour. The actual flying commences on day 02 of the tour.

SEATING CAPACITY

The maximum seating capacity for our helicopters is 06 passengers + 01 Crew.

INFANTS SEATING CAPACITY

Infants below 2 years or 12 kg are accommodated free of charge. In case of verification of the age of the child, ID proof/birth certificate of the child will be checked.

BAD WEATHER; FORCE MAJEURE DISCLAIMER

Flyingin hills is subject to bad weather, and many Force Majeure factors like delayed Air Traffi c Clearances/Permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying by Indian Air Force (NOTAM), a sudden occurrence of technical snag in aircraft, illness of flying crew or late reporting of the guests at the helipads, among others. Therefore, passengers must be prepared to face any eventuality and inconvenience in case of such scenarios Hotels are likely to change in the rarest unavoidable situations. Similar ones would be provided in that case.
Rooms are booked on a double or triple-sharing basis only.
For a separate single occupancy room, it will be extra chargeable @ INR 30,000/person (tax inclusive).
Hotels at all the Dhams are non-star categories. Though we have handpicked the hotels which are best in these locations. Assuring trustworthy services and comforts.
We strongly advise our passengers to keep one additional day at hand, over & above the5N6D period, to avoid inconvenience in case passengers get stuck at any of the destinations due to bad weather or force majeure scenarios.

ADD ON SERVICES

Airport transfers will be provided only on the arrival day at Dehradun, and on the last day,i.e., the 6th day of the tour.
Any donations, tips, pitthu, palki/pony, and porter charges shall be borne by the guests.
AADHAR Card copies are to be shared by all Indian passengers, ; passports in case of foreign nationals.
We have our own crew/ guides placed at all the Dhams. For any guidance or assistance, guests are free to reach out to them.
Network connectivity at Harsil & Badrinath is very poor. BSNL, Airtel & Jio are the main telecom services, that work in these regions mostly, but not always.
All temples in the Char Dham sector are located at high altitudes, therefore passengers are advised to carry medication during travel. Also, they are advised to carry heavy woolen clothing with them, because during evenings & nights, the temperature can drop drastically.

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

We will not be liable for any medical emergency on the ground to the passengers.
Therefore, in your own interest, passengers are hereby advised to kindly consult a doctor and get a medical check-up done before commencing the yatra. A medical check-up is mainly required if a passenger has any medical ailment or condition.
As operators we reserve the right to cancel passengers, who are unruly, abusive, intoxicated, sick, mentally unfi t, or anyone else whom we deem to be unsafe to fl y. No refund shall be done to such passenger(s).
Our Heli-Tours are not available for VIPs: As per protocol.

ON MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

Rescheduling your booking to any future or prior travel date will be done subject to availability, and onpayment of 10% of the total tour cost. This will be permitted only if informedat least 07 daysbefore the arrival date.
In case the rescheduling is requested less than 07 days prior to the travel date, then the booking would be treated as canceled, and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability, after the levy of applicable cancellation charges.

PAYMENT TERMS

The booking has to be done in advance with a deposit of 50% of the total amount. Balance payment must be deposited 15 days before the date of arrival at Dehradun. Passengers will not be permitted to board or commence the tour unless full & fi nal payment for the tour has been done.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If passengers cancel their booking prior to or after the commencement of the tour, following cancellation charges will be applicable -

More than 15 days prior to travel date: 30% of total tour cost.
Between 08 to 15 days prior to travel date: 50% of total tour cost.
07 or less days prior to travel date: No Refund.
No show: No Refund.
After commencement of tour: No Refund.

BAD WEATHER; FORCE MAJEURE REFUNDS

Force Majeure Policies Refund:

Rs.25000/would be refunded for each unitized sector, considering each Dham as one sector for four Dhams.
Additional Services: Deduction of any additional services provided at any of the Dhams during the tour of the passengers will be deducted over and above the refundable Tour Cost.
07 or less days prior to travel date: No Refund.
Refunds against any unutilized service will not be calculated separately and added to the refundable- amount.

COVID-19 Case, or any National/State Emergency:

In case passengers test COVID positive before the travel or the Yatra gets called off by the government, or any National or State emergency is imposed, there will be no refunds applicable.
However, passengers will be provided a Credit Voucher by us against the advance paid, which will be valid for one year. It can be utilized against any of our helicopter tours or charter services (for the full amount of the credit voucher), by the guests or any of their friends/relatives.

BAD WEATHER; FORCE MAJEURE POLICIES

Force Majeure Refund

Where bad weather conditions, technical snags, or any force majeure reason beyond our control services control results in the cancellation of your fl ight being delayed or canceled, We will not be liable in any way for the canceled or delayed fl ight. However, a refund will be given to clients as per our refund policy. Any kind of inconvenience caused because of the cancellation of fl ights is beyond the control of the operator. No compensation or reimbursement for accommodation, transportation, meals, or any other extra travel expenses done by the guests shall be off ered in the event of cancellation of a fl ight.
In case of tour departure does not take place from Dehradun on Day One due to the above reasons, the tour will be considered canceled and a full refund as per our policies will be made. However, in case the passengers would like to consider taking the tour on the next available date, a fresh booking can be made for the same. Our team will propose the available options to the guests. The balance/unutilized amount against the previous booking can be adjusted against the fresh booking. And any extra costs that would be accruing, will have to be borne by the guests.
In case the tour departs from Dehradun as per schedule but gets disrupted, while the tour is ongoing, our team will propose the possible revised itinerary within the scheduled package days, but without any extension of days.
Any extension, proposed by the passengers, in the package will only be considered at an extra cost and subject to operational viability.
In case 05 straight days of flying do not take place, a full refund as per our policies will be made to the passengers.
Additional night halt charges will be payable by the passengers to hotels on a direct payment basis when they get stuck for additional nights due to bad weather/force majeure reasons.
Our helicopters may not fl y to Harsil, in case of turbulent wind conditions – which is often in the Harsil valley after 1200 Hrs.
If any passenger(s) require ferry fl ights to be operated for them in an emergency, the cost for the same will be charged to the party @ INR 1,00,000/hr plus GST.
While the tour is ongoing if any group demands to cancel their tour mid-way, the arrangement of transportation we would try to provide, however, the cost for the same will be borne by the passengers on a direct payment basis.
Any increase in government levies or taxes, requires after the confi rmation of booking, will be extraa chargeable to the passengers. Payment against the same will have to be made before the commencement of the tour.

DISPUTES

Disputes as to legality, interpretation, application, or performance of service or any of its terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Haridwar Jurisdiction.
Bookings will be taken, considering there is Haridwar jurisdiction acceptance of the above-mentioned terms & conditions by the party.
